LEARNING BREAKS FOR CARERS
Taking Care
of the Carer – A Recharge for Mind and Body
Lancashire Adult Learning, in association with
Carers Link and Lancashire County Council offers residential courses lasting
for 48-hours over three days, for unpaid carers
throughout the country. These specially designed courses, which run
throughout the year, include a changing mixture of activities such as stress
management, confidence building, complementary therapies, arts and crafts and
gardening to rejuvenate the mind and body. The courses cost around
£43.00 and include all accommodation, meals tuition and materials. They
are held at Lancashire College in Chorley which is set in beautiful woodland
and is close to local transport links and the motorway.
